UUCR is a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association, the central organization for the Unitarian Universalist (UU) religious movement in the United States. As a member of the UUA’s 1000+ member congregations, we are committed to Seven Principles that include the worth of each person, the need for justice and compassion, and the right to choose one’s own beliefs.

We are also a member congregation of the Central East Region (CER) of the UUA. This region includes congregations in Washington DC, northern Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, and some congregations in Connecticut, New Jersey and Ohio. Our Primary Contact at CER is Rev. Megan Foley.

CER has organized clusters of congregations to facilitate growth, sharing, and networking within a smaller geographic area. UUCR is part of the Northern Virginia (NoVA) Cluster, along with nine other UU Churches:
