Films on Friday is a beloved UUCR tradition - a fun and enlightening (and delicious!) event, hosted by Bill on the first Friday of most months. Do come join us for our continuing showings of independent or lesser-seen “moving pictures.’’ Come watch good movies with good people! Tell your friends! See you there!

The film title is typically added to the UUCR event calendar the week before the event and is also shared in our eBlast newsletter. The event is free, but snacks and donations are always appreciated.

“Streaker” - This comedy is offered as a celebration of the approaching World Cup tournament. After irresponsibly gambling away the money for a new school sports field, German teacher Balz plummets into financial disarray. Together with his hairdresser, Kushtrim, Balz crafts a plan to quickly regenerate the funds. Balz and Kushtrim curate a team of professional runners infiltrating various sporting events and rigging bets by foretelling the presence of streakers.
