Our Social Justice Committee works hard to create and sustain a more just world.  Committee efforts begin with studying an issue which then may lead to advocacy by working with grassroots community organizations and government as well as interfaith and community groups.  The Social Justice Committee provides a focal point for these efforts. Individuals take the lead on specific social justice issues. Examples of  these issues include:

  • Affordable housing
  • Economic equality
  • Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender & questioning justice
  • Gun control
  • Immigrant rights
  • Police - community relations
  • Racial justice
  • Voting rights

Please contact Committee Chair, Lee Norrgard, for additional information.
