Insight Meditation & Mindfulness Practices
Insight meditation cultivates our natural wisdom and compassion. Meditation practice develops concentration, which allows us to calm and steady the mind.
This class meets every Tuesday, from 7:30 - 8:45pm, and includes 1/2 hour of Vipassana guided meditation instruction followed by a dharma (teaching) talk and discussion. No registration is necessary. Newcomers to meditation and long-time practitioners are welcome to attend. Chairs are provided or you may bring your sitting gear.
This is a drop-in class and there is no charge. If you wish, you may make a $5 - $10 as a sign of appreciation and to support the class to be offered as a "no cost" event for those that cannot afford these teachings.
