Lay Leadership

Leadership Council

The UUCR Leadership Council consists of the Vice President, chairpersons of at least six program committees, and two at-large members elected by the membership of the church, although attendance at the semi-monthly Council meetings typically includes most UUCR committee chairpersons. The Leadership Council is responsible for supervising and directing the programs of the church and serves as a communication tree for church committees and other established groups. Responsibilities also include coordinating the board and major event calendar, planning and coordinating major church events, and making recommendations to the Minister and Board on various issues to ensure smooth operation of the church.
