From the Revs. Sydney K. Wilde and Dennis J. Daniel:
As the ministers of this church, we are available to perform weddings and services of union for both members and non-members of our congregation, and for couples who come from different faiths. Either of us will perform ceremonies at our church or in other locations. Rev. Daniel is licensed to officiate at weddings in Virginia, and Maryland. Rev. Wilde is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Fees for wedding services are as follows:
Consultation and wedding (for non-members) —— $300
Rehearsal —— $100
Mileage —— 34.5 cents/mile if trip exceeds 5 miles in one direction
Driving Time —— $40/hour if trip exceeds 15 minutes in one direction
We request that $75 of the fee be paid at the time of the consultation as a non-returnable binder and that the balance be paid a week before the wedding.

A consultation to plan the ceremony takes about 90 minutes to two hours and must include both partners. We see our role as helping you to create the wedding you want, saying the things you want to say about who you are and what you are promising each other. We are very pleased when couples write their own vows, and we encourage you to bring readings you would like to use to the consultation. One of us (whichever one you choose) will go through the wedding service with you one step at a time, selecting the readings and rituals you want to include. We have a wealth of materials from which to choose, and are happy to use what you may have found elsewhere as well.
While we are available for relationship counseling, we do not require it before officiating at a ceremony. In some cases we may refer couples to professional counselors if we feel the needs go beyond our training.
