"Prints and Impressions"

A joint Art Show of Paintings and Photography. Award winning photo artist Bob Rease and impressionist Jan Watkins will be exhibiting their work at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Reston January 6 through February 10, 2008.

Bob Rease finds that the beauty of landscape and nature has drawn him back to photographing the glory of the seasons. In addition to winning first place in the Annual Photography Contest of Great Falls in April of 2006, one of his photos was juried into the Meadowlark Photo Exhibition in February 2006.

Jan Watkins started her art career as a graphic artist in New York in 1983. Her cartoons have been published by National Geographic World Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Rutgers University and other national publications and institutions. Watkins teaches art and the art of cartooning at schools throughout Northern Virginia. She will be showing her impressionist paintings as well as her cartoons in the January 6 show.

Both artists will be in attendance at a reception open to the public on Sunday, January 6, 12:30pm to 2 pm. The church is located at 1625 Wiehle Ave., Reston, VA and the gallery is open to the public daily 10 am to 2 pm.
